Leatherwork: A First Easy Project

Made a simple leather cuff today! This gave me practice with snaps and spots. Also with simple cutting since this was  from a leather belt. First make sure that your leather belt is supple enough to curve around your wrist. Mine was 2" wide.

Measure your wrist and add 2 to 2 1/2 inches to that measurement. The smaller amount if you want the cuff snug the larger amount if you want it a little loose.
Cut your leather to length and dye the edges.

You will need a snap, snap setter, leather punch, and spots.

Set your snap. Check your fit. Then set your spots in a random or predetermined pattern.

Enjoy your new creation and make one for a friend!
